Page 1 of Multi-region hack for Philips 625

Can anyone tell me how I would go about changing a Philips 625 DVD player to a multi-region player? Ideally I`d like to view region 1 DVD`s.

Also, if there is a code, do you have to enter it every time you want to watch a Region 1 DVD or will setting it to Region 0 once be enough?

I have no knowledge of how to do this and would appreciate any info endlessly.

Thanks for the link. Have managed to change the player with those codes. Still don`t know if the change is permanent or not. Any idea?
