Page 1 of alba dvd 108 ive just bought it anyone know how to hack it

ive tried about 20 without success surely somebody knows i cant play copied discs keep getting incorrect disk format im about pulling my hair out

I assume you are trying to play VCD and/or SVCD copies of DVD - if so then; switch on DVD - open tray - with tray open type 2812 then press ENTER on the remote - you should see hidden menu - insert VCD and MANUALLY close the tray (ie push it by hand !) - wait for the STOP icon to appear top left of screen (square block) - press PLAY and away you go ! (If VCD doesn`t start press MENU then PLAY)

i done what you said i typy 2812 and the hidden menu comes up i then press enter put disc in and close tray manual but the hidden menu stays there and i dont get a stop icon also tried menu then play stil no luck any suggestions

on my 108 you have to press 2812 then enter before the hidden menue comes up. also when you have closed the drawer and got the stop sign i press 1 and the vcd plays.
