I am really interested in DVD`s and VCDS of which i have a dvd rom and VCD addon to my Playstation.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with buying a multi region region DVD player whether Multi Region out of box or needing Hack. Please could you provide the Price up to £250 if possible and a Hack or info and WHERE you got it from.

oh and not the alba 103 unless it is definately out of box otherwise all else and cos i heard the Alba has quite a few problems with discs

Just to set you straight, my friend... The VCD add-on for your Playstation is just that; a VCD add-on. It doesn`t do DVDs. It would need a new laser and signifigantly more hardware than a simple plug-in if you wanted it to do all that.

Of curious note, however... when Sony first made the Playstation, they initially wanted it to support DVD, but abandonded the idea since DVD was still in it`s faint infancy, and it would have drove costs of the unit sky-high.
