Page 1 of multi region crack for panasonic dmr e50 have a go

This is what i picked up from this forum a few days ago and cant get it to work can anyone tell me where im going wrong?

firstly you must turn on the player put it in ready mode,ie draw open display says no disc push volume up/down for 35 seconds,then pause for 10 secs,then skip back 4 secs,then skip forward 5 secs, play for 23 secs,hold down 1 button,then stand in a bucket of water and sing the national anthem

If that didn`t work you might try a Panasonic dealer. They have a special remote control that will rewrite the firmware without invalidating the warranty. Panasonic don`t like them doing it so the dealer my pal went to in Ealing said he doesn`t tell them.
