ok, heres what you do.everything is done off the remote.you shouldnt have to touch anything on the player itself.
plug the player in and turn it on using the REMOTE.
wait for "NO DISC" message to appear.
press "OPEN" on REMOTE.
then press PAUSE, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9.
wait for "CODE...." to appear. IF IT DOESNT APPEAR, DON`T WORRY!!!! IT DIDNT APPEAR ON MINE.
then press "0" to make region free.
then press PAUSE on REMOTE.
then press POWER on REMOTE.
DONE!!!!!!!!!!! :D
found a way to get EVERYTHING to play. once you`ve entered the hack, wait a few seconds. on some titles the words DISC ERROR appear on the player. after a few seconds press MENU on the remote. should take you to the film menu screen. to get the region code warning to disappear press DISPLAY on your remote twice.also it helps if you go into the SETUP menu on the player and go to OTHER. change AUTOPLAY from OFF to ON. everything should play.
braveheart, green mile, etc work fine though.let me know how you get on
