Bush DVD 11k (from Safeway`s) "region free" wrong disk error.

I have tried this hack posted to be by Paris.

1. Open tray door.
2. Press the SETUP button
3. Press NEXT , PREV , NEXT , PREV
4. You will see "Ver 2" on the screen
5. Select 255 for Region Free
6. Press Setup Key to save settings.

It changes the settings of the player, but I still get an error saying wrong disk when I insert a region 0 disk any Ideas anybody?
