Can anyone please help me hack a bush DVD2039 I cant find anything on this machine, it appears to be the lastes model.

This model is multi region from the box.

If this machine is multi region from the box? can you expand a little and share it with all us others who are trying to make this model multi region. Your thread dated 19th July does not really help us and at the moment seems pointless other than just tease us with the answer.

I too am looking for a Hack for this machine. I haven`t tried it, but maybe he means the dvd is already multi region and you dont need a hack. Does anyone have a region 1 or other region disk apart from region 2? Try it out & let us know.

I have a region 1 disk and it most definately does not play on this model.We need a hack.

Sorry not that this will help much, but i have asked Bush the question you raise, as i have just purchased the same machine, note their response:

Qu: why can i not view my digital photos from CD ?
We write to advise that we recommend Kodak discs (JPEG) - you can try a disc which has been developed by a photo store to eliminate incompatibility with the software you are using.
Qu: what regoin settings has this model and how can i alter them ?
The DVD2039 is a Region 2 disc player only and attempting to play any other region discs may corrupt the software in the DVD player.

If anyone does find a way round this I would be most interested.

This player is identical to the Alba DVD59 (I saw it for sale in Homebase, the only difference is it has Alba written on it instead of Bush), so use the region hack for that. My friend tried it and it was successful.

If you are still after a hack for the Bush dvd 2039, then try this.
1) POWER ON THE DVD PLAYER
2) PRESS THE OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON ONCE ON THE REMOTE
3) PRESS THE PROG BUTTON ONCE ON THE REMOTE
4) PRESS ENTER 3 TIMES ON THE REMOTE
5) USE THE UP/DOWN ARROWS AND SELECT REGION 0
6) PRESS THE STOP BUTTON UNTIL IT SAYS REGION SET TO 0, TO CONFIRM ON YOUR REMOTE.
THIS DVD PLAYER IS THE SAME AS THE ALBA DVD59.
