Page 1 of Venturer PVS 1761 portable dvd player

Anybody know how to diable the macro on the above?

hI md,

Just trying to get the low down on the Venturer 1761 and how you enter the codes mentioned in respect of obtaining a multi region player. How do I do it and what are the codes and lastly in what sequence?

The hack
for most Venturer players

1 Open Tray
2 press 81328
3 press ENTER to scroll through regions select 9
4 as the remote has no enter key press MENU
5 Close the tray

This hack also works on the similar PVS 1760
which was sold in Woolworths, the difference between this
and the PS166W seems to be (according to the box & manual)
that the PVS1760 can play VCD & SVCD as well
After using the hack it played both region 1 & 2 Ok and
the VCD playback was unaffected
