Page 1 of REGION HACK for durabrand P1430D Tv/dvd combi as sold in asda

press power on
press dvdmode on your remote
press open/close
press setup
key in 8888
press next
ver 2 (region 2) will appear on the screen
press right arrow untill display shows ver 255
press open/close
your player should now be region free

tested on the one we got today and works 100%

Ive just tryed this hack but it didnt work. IS all the info typed in using the remote control.

Or is there anything missing from the hack?

i tried the above hack and it works. but after i keyed in 8888 i had to press "next" 3 times before ver 2 appeared
the i followed the instructions as above. excellent. thanx

This was great probably the easiest hack I`ve tried, I still had to press next 3 times. This looks like one of the cheapest combies you can get 8)
