Does anyone have a hack to make the Alba DVD 55 multi regional ?

I am looking for the code for the alba dvd55 as well if you find out please let me know as i have been lokking for ages.

I`m not sure if the following will work but it`s something I stumbled across by accident.

press your dvd setup menu button
press your left arrow button once
press down arrow button once
this should bring up a sub menu with 3 options pal, multi and ntsc
press right arrow once and then down arrow once and press enter to select multi
turn power off and back on and then see if it works on your dvds.

sounds suspiciously like the signal output selection screen to me. Nothing to do with region selection

My Collection

If the 55 is the little one they sell in Index for 29.75, then it can`t be hacked. Best you can do is keep pressing the `1` button while loading a disc. It will display `wrong region` but will continue playing the disc. Problem is that most of the buttons on the remote now do not work.
