Page 1 of Samsung MAX 945d mini + DVD

Can anyone tell me if there is a hack fro the Samsung MAX945D which is a mini hifi + DVD player in-one

if you find out the solution, please let me know... :-(

I bought one of these too, if you find a solution please let me know too... :-(

I also have the above m/c. Enquired at samsung here in Saudi Arabia but they could not help. If you find any hacks please let me know.... thanks.

Our m/c is basicaly a dvd 709 inside. Will be trying to follow the instructions over the next few days and let you know how I get on. You do the same OK. Jonc

TRIED THE ABOVE BUT COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK.I SPOKE AGAIN TO SAMSUNG AND 1 OF THERE ENGINEERS REMOTE HACKED IT FOR ME USING AN ENGINEERS REMOTE. THIS THEY USE FOR DOING DIAGNOSTICS ON VARIOUS M/Cs. IT HAS LETTERS INSTEAD OF NUMBERS FOR THE KEYS. ALL HE DID WAS, GO TO A BIG BOOK THEY HAVE, LOOKED UP THE CODE AND PUNCHED IT INTO MY M/C. SORRY TO SAY HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE CODE LETTERS. TRY YOUR LOCAL SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE. THEY CAN ONLY SAY NO. IF YOU DON`T TRY YOU WON`T KNOW FOR SURE.....SORRY AND GOOD LUCK. JONC

I have heard that a remote hack is available for the 945, it probably uses the 709s "Double Cold Start Hack" see www.709online.co.uk. Note that the stereo led does not change through the entire process. Let me know if anybody has any luck.
