Page 1 of Reset your Matsui dvd110 to the way you bought it!

If you want to take off the region or VCD hacks on your matsui which i dont think you would want to do just hold the skip fwrd and skip bkwrd buttons on the player and turn the power on from the machine itself!

Why would anyone want to do this?

l think there must be a Macrovision hack in there somewhere... no matter what people say...

Oritron (the manufactures of the matsui) have officially said that there is a macrohack but they did not give details!

By the way i did say WHY WOULD ANY 1 WANT TO DO THAT IN MY ORIGINAL POST!

Because, as I`ve previously stated on many occasions, should you have a problem with the unit whilst it is under guarantee/warranty, and the engineer realises the hacks have been effected, they will REFUSE to work on the unit because you have "modified" it!

Well suposedly when the Oritron dvd player is made multiregion it also disbales macrovision, I cant say for sure as I havent tried it.
