Looking for a crack to make from this philips HDRW 720
an regio free dvd player

please help

- There must be no dvd in the player
- push the button Discmenu
- push Play, 1, 5, 9
- now you can see lines on the display
- push the buttons 121212005255 Play
- The player should be codefree now.

I found this on a homepage I have no idea if it works. I don`t have this recorder to test it. Please give me a reply if it has worked or not

The patch works great, thanks, but I have a question: is there a way to bypas Macrovision on this player? It would be nice to be able to copy a DVD to HD return it to the video club, and watch the film later...

Does the hack work with new firmware?

It worked on my unit also, tried several discs from regions 1,2,4 and have been playable.
It should be noted though that the 12121200525 doesn`t fit in the display of the unit but it must be entered anyway even though the last three or four digits will not be shown in the display. I think this is a wonderful machine, the remote could be improved (the keys are not placed in the most logical layout in my opinion) provided the tremendous amount of functions available some light would be helpful too.

hi, you can go to www.multi-region.co.uk and by a scart lead that by pass the Macrovision, it cost about 25 to 50 pounds good luck.
