Got a hack for you if you want it mate:

Press the OPEN button (all operations performed on remote control)
Press PAUSE
Press 0 (zero) four times (slowly)

You should have a 0 set for the region (you can set whatever you want, but 0 is multi-region)

Press PAUSE

Power off, back on.....multi-region!

Did the hack work as im loooking at getting a new LG player .... :/

:) I`m the guy who submitted the hack, and yes it works 100%. I watched an R1 copy of `Traffic` just yesterday, no problems. The DVD player is great as well, £49.99 from Comet.
