Page 1 of Ronin DVD215 player hack???????????????????????

anyone know how to make this player region free? it was manufactured in sep 2003?

1 open cd draw

2 press setup button on the remote control

3 enter 1369888 on the remote control

4 scroll down to the version option in the menu and press enter

5 highlight region code on the menu and change it to region 0

6 press enter on the remote to save the new region

have used this this morning and all worked on my unit

The Ronin 215F cannot be hacked with the same code as the 215. The method for this machine is:- Switch on, enter 8561 with the remote and a menu should appear. Scroll down to "Region" and set it to region 0.Or whichever you like.Just Bought this player seems excellent reccomend it easy hack worked first time.

None of the hacks here work. Nor do the sequences at roninhacks to get a firmware version string.

Power on with drawer closed and no disc

Wait for it to find no disc

Open drawer

key 9735

Region menu appears.
