Page 1 of GOODMANS GDVD66 HACK FOR MULTI-REGION.

:/ can anyone help?? I have a Goodmans GDVD66 unit which I want to be able to play multi region DVDs on, but I have tried the hacks listed in these pages and still it shows wrong region when a region 1 DVD is inserted. Has anyone had success in hacking one of these units? I would really appreciate some help with this. ;)

The Goodmans GDVD68 Region Free Instructions.


1) On the DVD Remote press "Eject".

2) On the DVD Remote press the function button "Title"

3) Now enter the following code "0167(0)"

*! allowing the hand symbol to disappear after each number is entered!*

The number in brackets is the region code index:

1= region 1
2= region 2
3= region 3
4= region 4
5= region 5
6= region 6
0= region free

Thanks maxsim, but I have tried this and it will not work. The remote for the 66 does not have an Eject button and although I have tried to press the Eject on the unit, it still did not work :(
