i´m trying to find a hack for my friend

To change region on this player you need to access the players hidden menu, to do this follow these steps:

Power on the player

Press and hold Stop and then Open/Close & Skip Fwd on the player (not the Remote Control) for 3 seconds

A hidden menu appears on the TV:
REGIONAL NUMBER
COLOUR SYSTEM SETTING
DEFAULT COLOUR SYSTEM
EXIT

High light REGIONAL NUMBER and press Select on the Remote Control

Menu: "REGIONAL NO 1,2,3,4,5,6,FREE". Select a Region or FREE for Region free and press SELECT on the remote

SET COLOUR SYSTEM

Go to first menu as above, "COLOUR SYSTEM SETTING" and press "SELECT" on the Remote Control

Menu: "AUTO" "MANUAL". Set to "MANUAL" and press "SELECT" on the Remote Control. The first menu appears again

Select "DEFAULT COLOUR SYSTEM". Menu "PAL" and "NTSC" appears

Select according to the system of your TV Number 9 on main menu must also be set according to the system of your TV, if the TV is not a multi-system, i.e PAL and NTSC.
