Page 1 of Multi-region code/hack for a toshiba C2502 DVD-ROM on HP Laptop

Does anyone know how to multiregion laptop DVD players. I have a HP omnibook XE3 with a tosh c2502 DVD-ROM. I can only change my region code a further 2 times and need to find a way around this anoying problem!

you can flash the firmware aboard the drive with some lovely RCP1 stuff which you can get from http://www.firmware.fr.st/


make sure to use the right firmware version, if you use one of the utils. availble at the site you can get your firmware version. You can also find this through device manager, drive properties.

Your drive is at the bottom of the page btw.
