Page 1 of does anyone have a hack for a sony rdr-gxd500?

Hi-
I`ve now spent £26 on hacks that don`t seem to work. One from dvdremotehack.com, who claimed that I could use my own remote to do the job (after I paid and it didn`t work there were no responses to any of my e-mails), and the other from the February posting by Farry on this forum. I can`t seem to program the OFA handset that I bought. Can anyone help me...!

I don`t think you`ll have any luck.
Apart from a very few `Phoney Sonys` (ie those manufactured by other companies but badged up as Sonys) Sony machines can not be hacked. Says so enough times throughout this forum - and at the top of the Hacks Forum page!
If I were you I would give up and buy a multi-region machine or one you know is hackable instead.
You`ve spent £26 already......could have bought a multi-region machine for that money or very little more!!
