It is sold in asda at £99.74p

No remote hack has yet been found ... it can be chipped for auto region and macro disable however

steve it is okay!! go look in asda, it even comes in the same boxes when delivered marked 280 dvd!!! there are two models one with service port , no hack available, and without, hack as per web page stated, try it before trying to sell your chips.

Perhaps there are two types of Pacific 1000 ... it`s not beyond the realms of possibility but suffice to say the Pacific 1000 I worked on was nothing like either version of Rowa 280 .. this is a FACT .... I spent many hours on the auto region and macro chip for Pacific 1000 ... I would not have done this if it were a Rowa as I am the one who first offered upgrades for the Rowa with the service port and also the one who posted the other type Rowa hack on the net !!
