Hi all...

i know this is a somewhat personal question to some, but which RCE discs have been successfully tried on the samsung m105.

i am particularly interesting in getting the R1 RCE vervsion of Black Hawk Down, but i am somewhat reluctant to buy this if it will not work.

please could people:

a) confirm that their/friends samsung m105 does play the RCE discs, and

b) which movie(s) have they tried.

thanks in advance

The Boy Dent,

You`re being a bit paranoid, if I may say so ;-)

RCE is RCE - it`s not a case of some RCE titles working and some not working. There are some multi-region players (mainly older ones) which have problems with RCE, but the Samsung M105 isn`t one of them.

For what it`s worth, I have the R1 RCE disc of "Hollow Man" and can confirm that it works fine on a multi-region hacked M105.

Best wishes,

Mike

Hi Mike....

of course you can call me paranoid if you like; I have been called much worse!

Isn`t the www a wonderful thing. You get useful advice and chided all at the same time.

So, all is good and the RCE encoding will not cause me a problem after all.

Many thanks for that Mike.

Dare may I ask if anyone would know about the Wharfedale 750 being RCE compatible, and this after being visited by the nice Tesco-affiliated upgrade man?

The Boy Dent
