Page 1 of SAMSUNG SVDVD1E HELP NEEDED

i have hacked my dvd to accept any region but my V C R will not tape them it starts up then stops with END displayed on screen. Can anyone help please .THANKS

regen 0 meens your DVD is not restricted to reganel codes, its the macrovision encoded DVDs that is causing the problem (on most DVDs) as I only got my Samsung DVD the same day as you posted you message i havnt tried to solve this problem yet.
I have tried to follow instructions on how to make my DVD region free but it dose not seem to work, will you please post the instructions you used and hopfully I will have more luck.
If I find a way round the Macrovisin I will let you know

do the cold start hack
using the remote provided press repeat
then 387679
thenoress open then standby.
macrovision is dissabled.
pluss it makes it multi regional as well.

Sorry I sound a bit thick What is the cold hack start

a cold start hack is
press start and play together until language selection apears on the screen then obviously select english(1)

Cubby , bit confused about hack my SVDVD!E doesn`t like the last 2 digits it accepts either 7 or 9 not both please could you clarify
