Change regions on Pioneer DV 55

Hello
Does anyone knows a way of changing the region setting on the Pioneer DV55 player and not doing a hardware chipping?

So far ALL Pioneers seem to be hardware hack only - try www.dvdchips.co.uk (there u go Steve I remembered u this time) or www.techtronics.co.uk.

you can have a small hardware change which doesn`t void your warranty aparently.
