Proline DVD 1000 Player - Will it play new enhanced region 1 DVD`s?

I have used the information on this web site to enable the playback of region 1 dvd`s on the player. I tested it and it worked, but I have since found out about the new Enhancement on the region 1 dvd`s that will stop playback on multi region players. Is this the case with the Proline DVD 1000? Is there anyway of just switching between region 1 and 2?
