Page 1 of SAMSUNG DVD M105 HACK FOR VERSION 5.02E

Is there or is there not a hack for this dvd player. I`ve tried the ones on here and no joy (keying in 57538 and 38767).Thanks

As of yet there isn`t one; not a permanent one using the player`s own remote, anyway. (You can do the old Samsung hack, using an Aiwa music centre remote, but it`s not permanent - you have to do it each and every time you use the player.)

It`s now known that firmware version 5.02Ee is hackable using the 57538 code (see Andy Hancock`s post further down, and the thread that follows) and of course that 5.02C is hackable using the standard 38767 code. However it seems that unlucky 5.02E owners have no option other than to do a firmware swap, or get the player chipped.

Thanks Mike for the information. Which one of the hacks works with the AIWA remote (as we have a couple of AIWA music centres so can try their remotes)
