This was sold as `Region free` but won`t play region 1 disc`s. >:(
Does anyone have the hack that will turn this into a region free unit, please????

Go to the following site GenuineCopies.tv.tv hacks remote and they will sell you a remote for £9.99 inc P/P with the press on one button will turn you Pioneer to multi region and it will also double up as a spare remote for your DVD. You could also sell the remote on, as it will make up to eight Pioneers region free, your actual Model is not listed but you could e-mail them to see if one of these controls are compatible with your model, my actual Panasonic DVD recorder was not listed but they confirmed that it would work with my recorder, It takes the hassle out of programming an all- for one or the hire of expensive one use remote or a? Service remote.
