Page 1 of All oritron DVD player owners!

I have an oritron DVD600 firmware 005 and i did the VCD playback hack and it asks me enable VCD 1Yes 2No so i press 1 and it says VCD enabled then when i put in a VCD it doesnt play! HElp

What is VCD play back?Does that mean i can play VCD`s

this player dosent play cdr very well
put your films on cdrw should work fine

when i put in a cd-r it doesnt work it says no valid disc but when i put in a cd-rw i goes black then says wrong or bad disc
any suggestions

I have reached the same prob, but have only tried CDR. I havent tried CDRW yet. I get the message, No Valid Disc on the CDR. ]

Also, is there a way to turn off PBC on the Oritron600? (playback control)
I was told this may be the answer.
