Page 1 of HELP IS THERE A REGION HACK FOR SAMSUNG V1000 DVD/VCR COMBO PLAYER

I am looking for or to find out if there is a Region Hack for the Samsung V1000 DVD/VCR combo player. I have been looking every place but come up empty handed. Can someone tell me if there is one or if I am wasting my time looking. Thank you in advance :-)

Check all of the hacks for the Samsung SV-DVD1E DVD-VHS combo player it`s the same player just the european version, there are lots of different hacks listed on this site if you look around. Good luck

Thanks but it does not work. I did everything it said and when I hold down the FF and pause at the same time and wait for a screen with a choice of language it never shows. I get nothing and I did everything as stated. I turned on the power from the player, made sure there is no DVD or VHS in the player first. Made sure it was set to DVD not VCR and held down the FF and pause but nothing happens then on. I guess there is just no code for this player and I will have to buy a decoding box.

It worked for me. Ignore all other instructions and try this just as it is described.

turn off the dvd player then turn back on.no need for a disc.

select dvd mode then press set up once if language does not appear press set up again.
then press repeat a/b once then press in the numbers 38767 in the top left hand corner you should see 02 press 9 for region free.

then press open button then press standyby that should do it.

when you press in the first number after pressing the repeat a/b the curser should not move to that language if it does start over good luck

Nope that does not work. I have tried it all. I get a 3D Samsung screen and nothing at all if I hit setup. If I goto the tv view and do it I get the main setup where I can not input anything other then the main settings my scrolling down with the remote. I can not get past any of this and I never see anything at the top left. I am giving up, thanks for trying
