Page 1 of Hack wanted for Sharp VCR/DVD Combo DV-NC60H

I`ve just bought a Sharp DV-NC60H VCR/DVD combo, and would like to know if anyone has a hack for this to make it multi-region compatible.

At last an owner of this model that does not exist according to Sharp UK (must be import) and no refs on the Net.

How about answering a few questions if U possibly can as I am seriously considering one:

1) Does it playback:
a) CDR (any format video, audio etc)
b) CDRW
c) DVDR (if U have any!!)
d) DVDRW
e) DVD+R
f) DVD+RW
g) VCD (homemade or professional)
h) SVCD (as above, I`ll send U one if needs be!!!)
i) XVCD or XSVCD
j) MP3

For chipping, IIRC I was told that www.mailuk.com might be able to help and U also might want to ask www.dvdchips.co.uk.

Any other comments on the overall performance of the machine would be really helpful

I don`t know! I`m still waiting for a remote! I bought it at Curry`s as a sale item. Give me another email in a week`s time, and I`ll confirm the answers to your questions, as we`re not even looking at it until the remote arrives! (Which in itself was like asking for dry water).
