Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to make the Hitachi DV-P250 `VCR Friendly`?

Unfortunatley, this player is unable to bypass the macrovison settings (not VCR friendly). It is only possible to upgrade the firmware to make it Multi-region - which you probably already know!
Dispite that, I think you`ll agree that its still a bloody good player though!

I thought that might be the case.
I have a few region 1 DVD`s that my sister can`t play on her player so I thought, if I could, I would put them onto tape for her to watch.
Never mind!
I agree, it is a great player though.
