Page 1 of hacks required for pacific 1000 and jvc xvs42

Can anyone sort me out with hacks for these machines

This works for the pacific 1000,
power on, open dvd tray and press 8421 on the remote. region 2 will appear on screen. press enter to change regions 1 to 6. pressing enter till 9. this will make it muti region.
note: i also found on this model it was necessary to change the tv system by the dvd set-up from Pal to Pal 60, otherwise some regions run a bit slow, done this to my dvd and it works perfect.ftmftm

XVS42 must be chipped/reprogrammed
