Page 1 of samsung dvd-f1080 hack needed

Having spent a day and a half trying hack after hack I still have got my samsung dvd-f1080 region free. Anybody know how to do it??

Has anyone got a code the DVD-F1080? None of the codes I have found for other Samsung players (or ones which pretend that they are for this player) work

Have you tried this?


1. With no disc in the tray, turn on your player
2. Wait until the `no disc` sign appears in the top left corner of the screen
3. Press the `info` button on the remote (`no disc` should disappear from the top left corner)
4. Tap in one of the following codes corresponding to your region:

Region 1 - 29334
R2 - 38767 or 57538
R3 - 56732
R4 - 76884
R5 - 53814
R6 - 24462

5. The number of your region should appear in the left up corner of your screen (not in every case)
6. Press button `9` on the remote
7. Press the `repeat` button (located under the number 6) on the remote
8. Turn off your dvd player

Didn`t work for me though but many said it does.

That`s the problem. Once the "No Disc" message appears on screen, no button presses will make it disappear.

I`ve got a programmable remote, so I might try programming some of the other Samsung remotes into it, and trying them.
