A quick search in the correct forum (region hacks) would have given you this: http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/thread.asp?Forum=176&Thread=70357 - so no macrovision hack. If you are desperate, then you could buy a macmaster (£30, various suppliers), which is well reviewed by those who have used it.
