I`ve just found out that the Toshiba D-VR17KB is already Multi Region so there isno need to hack it. I Thought I`de try it as no-one was coming up with a code. hope this helps. JB

I have the same dvd player and it will not play foreign dvds. Can you help. Like you have not been able to get a code for this player.

My Toshiba D-VR17KB does not play a region 1 disc, are all these machines multi region or not ?

I have the same DVD player and it is not multi region.

I am still looking for a code.
