press eject to open tray
press 2, 4, 0, 3, 9, 6, 0, ?
press eject to close tray
power off then on

replace ? with 1 = region 1
2 = region 2
3 = region 3
Etc.
9 = Multi region
you will not see anything on the screen until you press the last number, it will display the number in the top RH corner of the screen.

And also what you need to do after you have put the numbers in like replace ? with

does this mean a region 1 dvd needs to be in the player first or what
