HELP!!!! Remote control hack needed

Hi guys I have just brought a dvd stereo system, it is currently a region 2 device and wont play any copied cd`s.

The model number and make is :

Panasonic sc-pm08

Does anyone know of ny remote hacks or a way I can get it multi-regionalised.

I know of a company called techtronics who are quoting £75 but is ther anything else I could do???????

It can be made Multiregion cheaper than that BUT it will never play copied CD`s except perhaps some specific brands
