Page 1 of Samsung M104B

I am hoping to find a hack for my new DVD player. The site gives the Samsung M105 but not my model M104B. Anyone help please?

The hack for the DVD-M105 should also work for other DVD-M machines - provided the firmware supports it. You could start by opening up the player and looking at the EPROM chip in the back right corner - there`s a label on this chip which gives the firmware version number (for example 5.02C, 5.02Da, 5.02E, 5.02Ee).

Where did you buy this DVD-M104B by the way? I`ve had a look around, but it seems to be a "ghost" player - there`s nothing about it on Samsung`s web pages, and I can`t find any UK retailers that stock it either. I don`t know what the differences are between it and the DVD-M105.

Thanks for your help everyone, I bought the player at Asda (as guessed by someone here!!). I wondered if it was an old model which had been renamed to sell? I also wondered if it might be the same as the 105 and will certainly check out that hack.
I`m not sure that it is the same machine as the 105, but yes it is black.

It`s only me!!! The M104B is an "EXCLUSIVE!!!" machine (like they do for comet, currys, etc,.) but it is a M105, with a different number, oh, and a different colour, and maybe a different,,, well you get the point, but it is a M105. By the way BIG THANKS to MIKEG for the reprogrammed chip,it saved my life, well not really, but you know what I mean Mike, CHEERS.
