Hack for Thomson DTH 3600 Needed
I`ve just got hold of this model & wonder if there`s a remote hack for it ?. It looks like a Samsung 909 but i`ve tried the remote hack for that machine without luck.
Thanks

(This also works for 3300, 4000, 4200, 4500)
Remove disc from tray. Close it. Now you should have a Thomson logo on the screen.
Press Repeat 38767 on the remote control.
"02" is displayed on the screen. Press 9. "9" is shown. Now press the Open button on the player`s front. Press Standby on the remote.
Done!

Johan,
Thank you very much, that worked just fine.
If anyone is interested, this player is on sale @ Miller Brothers, in the UK for £199, reduced from £299 it`s got a dolby digital decoder on board together with a remote that can control up to 4 things (including the player) & it`s hackable with the players remote as above. I`ve been pretty impressed with it up till now & just think, no having to try & find an Aiwa remote or the expense of a one for all. Sounds good to me.

Hi,
I tried the hack and found Macrovision is disabled now. I`m not sure about the region code, since I have no region 1 DVD yet (will get one this afternoon).
What I would like to know, what exactly happens, when you change the setting? It looks like a special bit is set, but what is its meaning?
Thanks
Ralf

Does anyone have a hack for the Thomson TV-DVD that is now available in the UK? I`m not sure what DVD is fitted in the TV as nothing is printed in any manuals that I have?
