Page 1 of Sony RDR-GX700 Hack help please ?

Hello Everyone.
I have a rather elderly Sony RDR-GX700 DVD recorder which has received very little use.I know its quite old probably about 5 or 6 years I think but is there anyway to make it multi region?
I want to put it in the bedroom so my partner can watch some US art disks her sister sent her.
Any help would be appreciated

None of the old Sony players or recorders are remote hackable, I`m afraid.

You either need a service remote (you can google this) or a mod chip...cheaper option would be to buy a cheap multiregion player for those Region 1 discs, sorry.
