The new Dansai 1010 will be arrive at tesco extra in the next few days, is there a region & macro hack out there??? and does it play all the cd`s its brilliant little brother did (852)

yes plays all format but need hack for multi reg

Yes it does play everything, the correct hack is:

1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. 2. Press the Stop button on the front of your player
3. 3. Press the Forward button on the front of your player
4. 4. Press the Previous button on the front of your player
5. 5. Press the Next button on the front of your player
6. 6. You will now be in a hidden menu where you can change the region to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or Bypass for multi-region playback


However you will NOT be able to disable Macrovision on this player,despite what you have heard. Consider this before buying one, or buy the £99 player which is a hell of a lot nicer to look at, and can have Macrovision disabled as well.

I wonder if you can help me i have tried the new hack for this model but it will not play films i have bought on the market new releases i thought that was what hack did can you tell me why they play on pc but not cd player am i not doing something right
