Page 1 of Samsung 709 Hack

I have tried out the new 709 controller hack but it does not seem to be working on my Samsung 709. I`m not sure of the firmware but I can`t play the matrix which I believe gives some idea to the version.

I have been doing the stop+play reset before trying the hack but all I seem to find is that when typing the 38767 code I just keep getting the no entry symbol in the top right of the screen. I even found a variant of the 709 controller hack which said I should try hitting the menu before the repeat button. But all that happens then is when I get to 8 the dvd tries to start playing.

Any ideas anyone or have I got a duff 709?

You should be pressing the stop+play on the player itself and not the remote - this could be where you are going wrong as you don`t mention getting the language selection which you enter before the code

If you get to pressing 8 and it starts playing, take the disk out, do it without a disk.
