HI all i just got this player and its the same as my Daughter`s
REOC A3 DVD player heres the code to make it region free.



Press the Open/Close button on your remote control

2. Press the buttons 8, 4, 2 and 1 on your remote control, in order, one at a time
NB: If this does not work, press the buttons 9, 9, 9 and 9 on your remote control, in order, one at a time
3. The current region code should be displayed on the screen

4. Press Enter on your remote control until the desired region is shown, for example 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or select 9 for multi-region

5. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control

its old hack that is...lol

hack did not work on my sm 2500 any suggestions

The hack does work make sure you follow it carefully.

No dvd in player

press open/close on remote

press 9 then 9 then 9 then 9

in the top left corner you will a underscore appear for each key press once all 4 numbers have been accepted simply choose the region region 9 for all, however some dvd`s(rce) require the correct region so you will need to correct teh region from 9 to the correct region etc.

HAVE TRIED BOTH 8421 AND 9999 GET TO REGION CODE BUT IT WILL NOT CHANGE FROM 2 ! ANY ADVICE PLEASE

thanks hack working fine, just need macro hack now any ideas?
