Page 1 of !!HELP - TESCO WHARFDALE 750s!!

Hey,
I`m a newbie @ this so give me a break, I am interested in purchasing a Wharfdale 750s From Teso (See www.tesco.com) However I only want it if I can play Multi Region DVDs.
Can it actually be hacked?
Has anyone got one that is?
Just so I know it does work and also which crack did you use?

Any help would be appriciated!!

Hi Ben,

Just re-iterating what Mark said about checking the URL he pointed you too.

Plus I can add that I have the newest 750S hacked to multi-region, and it plays `The Patriot` in MR ie its MR mode is able to defeat RCE too.

A colleague has the 750S before mine with slightly different firmware and therefore different hacks, and it plays all R1`s that we have including `The Patriot`.

Hi m8 i got my 750 yesterday not the `s version and i must say its cool.
The picture is well good for a budget player but at the mo im watching it on my 14 inch sony tv as my kids have busted me nice big sceen tv.
Its easy to hack my 750 uses this hack

i just poped RCE disc in which is The Patriot
and it worked no problem
i havent noticed any noise from the drive yet but my misses said it was making some noise while playing the matirx.
my m8 said his 750 makes some noise while playing,He also said about his m8 who bought a 350 quid sony DVD player which made even more noise than the 750 so its not just budget players that have this problem
Me myself i aint bothered if it makes any noise cos once i get it cranked up to my Cinema sound system i wont even hear it.
All in all i think this player is well good for 180 quid.
