I have a Bose 3-2-1 system. Is there a hack either to convert to multi-region or a reversible 2 to 1 hack, please?

Okay, I have tried the remote hacks and none seem to work. I have even taken it to a shop where for $200 they will order and install a new board that can be programed. If you have any other sugestions I am open....
