Page 1 of sanyo 7201 , does it work????

can somebody tell me ,,does the region hack on the marsh web page work????. i found 1 review that states it just wrecks the machine...has anybody used it ,and does it work,,,,thanks

I got it to work OK.

I used CDR-Win to burn the bin file.

NB - there is a readme which tells you which number code to key in to get it region-free.

Just a few words to say am glad to see that there is people out can get this very easy hack to work.

Killed my machine.

I came here looking to see if my Sanyo could be made region free. Saw these posts and thought great, this will work.

When I updated (exactly as instructed) the screen went red. Ok, no problem. Came back in the room about 20 seconds later, tv was blank, switched to standbye? no, switched to DEAD. no lights, no LED, no standbye. The machine will not function what so ever. Completely usless now. Im gutted.

looks like you did somthing wrong mate because i`ve 2 of my own sanyo 7201`s both worked spot on i`ve had nobody else complain.
If you followed the idiot guide there will be no problems"i asure you!!!"
