Page 1 of PHILLIPS 750:REMOTE HACK REQUIRED!!!!

One of my mates bought one of these machines thinking it was multi-regional but it`s not. Anyone know of a code that can be input via the remote so he can play his Region 1 discs? Also I have a Packard Bell pc with DVD. I changed the region code but it says I can only do this 4 more times before it locks. Is there a way around this without sending the unit away?

For yer PB machine, use a search engine to find a region changing program for your DVD that resets the drive to 5 changes each time you change it!!

(Apparently DVDGenie is pretty popular!)

The hack is there for this player (The 750), should work fine as long as your firmware is current.

As for the Packard Bell try http://www.firmware.com.bi as a starting point, you will need to know the model number however.
