Page 1 of Hack for proline 2500

does anyone have the region hack for the proline 2500 and for playing vcd`s Thankz

1.press the menu button on your remote control
2.using your remote control,enter 1,6,7
3.press the mute button on your remote for all regions
4.press the okay button on your remote.

If you turn of the mains power you may have to reapply the hack.

Will this allow u to play vcd`s as well ?

Enable VCDs
-----------
Insert music CD,
Press MENU,
Press 5
Press EJECT (tray should remain closed)
Press 1
Press INDEX MENU
Press EJECT (tray should remain closed)
You should now see menu,press 1 to enable VCD play.

can anyone give me the vcd code for the PROLINE 2500.must be 2500. have recieved codes for 2000 but they don`t work. missing a button on remote control.Thanx

have you received a successful hack for mulit regioning a proline 2500

the one martin sneddon does allow an american dvd to be played but only in black and white

your hack for the proline 2500 does allow american dvd`s to be played but only in black and white, have you discovered a way to get the colour back

I think you may either have an older TV that isn`t multi standard i.e will only display the PAL system, or if it is multi standard, look in the set up menu to switch it to NTSC. Hope this helps.
