any undesired side effects - as missing sound and color option, not powering down SCART - everithing works as supposed to work.

Tested on regions 1,2 and 5!


it`s time to move Philips to full hack players list?

please post any additional info about others regions.

I have only just been introduced to the dvd hacking world,
I have tried your hack but failed misserably,
I tried the hack with no disc inserted and the numbers came up on my lcd display but my dvd player just locked up,
And when i tried with a disk inserted the region 1 dvd just tried to play as soon as i pressed the play button on the remote(before i had chance to enter the hack)`
Am i doing the hacking correctly or not??????.

Before entering code for all regions, my player was programed to region 1 with code "PLAY 159 004 001 000 140 PLAY". Maybe that can be issue, or you can just check procedure on Multi-Region Hacks page.
