Page 1 of Screen flicker

Whenever I watch a DVD I get a flickering across the top of the screen, Right across where the black border usually is. My TV is a Sharp 24" widescreen and my DVD player is a Bush 2004. At first I thought it might have been the center speaker onto of the TV but no. Then I tried all cables and their connected right. And suggestion on what could be causing this?

Have you tried a different SCART lead? Sometimes the wires can become tangled and broken inside, I had this problem once on my little Sony TV :(

If not try putting another device on the scart channel and see if it is faulty TV or not :)

I`ve had a longer look at the problem and I think it`s the TV. If I look closer the flicker is there on all channels that come through the cable box and video (both via scarts) cable box is new as of Friday and DVD scart lead cost me 30 quid and has never been bent/twisted. Thanks for te advice, guess I`ll just put up with it, don`t fancy having to pay an TV guy to have a look at it.
