ive got a pioneer dvd r/rw
does anybody know how i can make sraight copys of my dvd,s some will copy some wont would be very gratefull

So you are basically asking "why can`t I copy 9.4 Gig of data of a dual layer onto a 4.7G single layer disc when the 4.7G single layer discs I`ve tried have copied".

The clues might be there.

use www.vcdhelp.com DVD movies have copy protection called css. In order to decrypt the content scambling system you need to rip the dvd to hard drive using smart ripper or dvd decrypter. For this reason it is not possible to do on-the-fly copies. Please be aware that I am in no way condoning you to do this as there is a law that states it is illegal to decrypt the css protection.
